Southern Ocean Sport was established in 1998. Our aim is to provide customers with the best that Tasmania has to offer, both above and below the water. From learning to scuba dive in Tasmania's pristine marine environment, to boat tours of Tasmania's rugged coastline. Southern Ocean Sport can take you to extremely beautiful places rarely seen by tourists or locals alike.

Southern Ocean Sport is committed to quality diver education and training with dedicated PADI instructors. We offer PADI courses from experience courses like Discover Scuba Diving through to full certification courses up to Divemaster. We conduct scheduled courses throughout the year but also offer courses to meet individual needs. We have two PADI instructors and a number of qualified Divemasters who are committed to making diving safe, fun and rewarding. PADI Courses offered: Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver, Adventure Dives, Specialty Courses, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Divemaster. Mainly diving the clear sheltered waters of Tasman Peninsula, Bruny Island and Maria Island. Sites include reef, wreck, kelp forest and seals.
