Dive Forster at Fishermans Wharf
Daily boat dives to Forster and Seal Rocks. We are the World originators of the PADI Shark diver Course. The area is rated in the top ten "Shark Dives" on the planet. Big fish,big sharks all combine to make this one of the most exciting, diverse dive destinations available and all an easy three hour drive north of Sydney. We have weekend and mid-week dive and accommodation packages available all year 'round. We also take snorkellers out to Swim with Wild Dolphins, we are the only operators on the East Coast of Australia licensed to do this. In winter time, world renowned Whale, Dolphin and Shark experts Ron Hunter and David Hinshelwood lead tours to Swim with Humpback Whales. Boat Description:
Our dive vessel TSMV "Avanti" is a 10.6 metre diesel powered catamaran. Full sun covers, two boarding ladders, four exits, two hot showers, toilet, tank racks, heaps of comfort and plent of room of up to sixteen divers and four crew. All dives have dive guides available to ensure you get the best out of every dive. "Avanti" is moored right at our own Wharf / Dive Centre; it couldn't be more convenient.
Sites Visited:
Some of the best temperate Scuba diving on the planet is found at Forster and Seal Rocks NSW. Critically endangered Grey Nurse Sharks here all year 'round. Peak of the "shark season" up to 200 Grey Nurse Sharks can be seen on one dive site. From the Pinnacle at Forster, which is rated in the top ten dive sites in the World (rating by Roberto Rinaldi, 10 years as resident photographer onboard Jacques Cousteau's "Calypso") to Underwater Cave Systems and the famous Grey Nurse Shark gutters at Seal Rocks, this area has it all.
