Calypso's vessels have been designed to provide the best scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef as well as offer three unique sites, the latest scuba gear for your comfort and safety and a personalised experience with smaller group numbers.

As a certified diver, Calypso offers you the freedom to explore, while still ensuring your comfort and safety with small group numbers overseen by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable dive master.

Boat Description:

Our vessels are designed for maximum space and yet we choose to only travel with small numbers to make your day more comfortable. Calypso vessels have large submersible platforms for easy access in and out of the water from a huge open plan dive/back deck. Our vessels are fuel efficient and environmentally friendly, we are committed to the protection and preservation of the reef. 'Calypso' launched in April 2007 'Calypso Snorkelling' launched in February 2009, 'Calypso Bubbles' launched September 2013 and 'Calypso Blue' launched in May 2014. Calypso Snorkelling and Blue are dedicated snorkelling vessels while Calypso & Bubbles are dive and snorkel vessels.

Sites Visited:

Opal, Tongue, Agincourt, St Crispin and Escape Reef. All reefs have a variety of dives including drift dives, wall dives and bombies. There is an amazing variety of marine life and corals at every site, from giant clams, to tiny tropical fish, rays and turtles.
