The Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) is a national, not-for-profit charity whose mission is to protect the health and vitality of Australia's coasts and oceans. AMCS is a consistent and persuasive voice on a wide range of marine issues throughout Australia including the declaration of marine protected areas, sustainable fisheries, recovery of threatened species and land-based pollution.
