The GETUNDER Dive Club was formerly known as the API Diving Club which was formed in 1976 to originally cater for the Scuba Diving activities of members of the Australian Post-Tel Institute of Victoria.
Today it caters for anyone who is qualified as a scuba diver and can meet the clubs entrance requirements.
The Club owns a trailer mounted Bauer Air compressor and together with a number of Scuba cylinders available for members use, radios and safety equipment.
Diving is from club member boats and we have the freedom to dive when and where we want. The Club is also affiliated with the Scuba Divers Federation of Victoria.
The Club is based in Melbourne, Victoria and is open to Certified SCUBA Divers. We actively dive Port Phillip heads, Ships graveyard, all levels of diving catered for. Club boats leave from Queenscliffe or Sorrento.
Club meetings on second Thursday of the month at the Maori Chief Hotel South Melbourne
Use member's boats, currently have 5 boats @ 6 metres set up for diving
Regular shore dives at piers, regular boat dives to Port Phillip Heads Area from Sorrento or Queenscliff. Sites include reefs and deep wrecks in ships graveyard. Regional trips to Phillip island and Wilson's Prom
