Some of the world’s most spectacular diving and snorkelling sites can be found at the Rowley Shoals and as a PADI Dive Boat Operator K2O can guarantee an unforgettable experience for an intimate number of people.
You will visit both Clerke Reef and Mermaid Reef, each home to an amazing array of corals, tropical fish, giant clams and other invertebrates, including the shy Mandarin Fish which was spotted at one of our secret locations last year. You’ll also find at least 13 species of larger marine animals at the Rowley Shoals, including sea turtles, manta rays, giant potato cod, maori wrasse, whales and dolphins.
Relax and snorkel in the crystal clear lagoons, dive the stunning 100m vertical outer reef edges, explore caves and canyons or get the adrenalin pumping on a drift snorkel rushing through the narrow channels.
All you need is your PADI Open Water ticket to scuba dive, so whether you are an experienced diver or just looking for a relaxing holiday close to nature then the Rowley Shoals is an experience not to be missed.
The luxurious 23m K2O has been cruising the Kimberley waterways in comfort and safety since 2004. Boasting 2 luxurious Staterooms with private ensuites, 2 Double Deluxe cabins with adjoining ensuite and 2 Twin cabins with shared facilities there is something to suit everyone. With an experience crew of 5 and a maximum of only 12 guest K2O offers the very best in liveaboard diving expeditions.
The outside walls of the Rowley Shoals are alive with soft corals in every imaginable colour. At low tide the water becomes ponded within the reef walls with the water flowing over the atoll walls like waterfalls... At high tide, the reefs disappear beneath the sea, with only the sandy islands of Clerke and Imperieuse visible… the Rowley Shoals give you the opportunity to experience a diverse array of scuba diving environments including, lagoons, canyons, high speed drift dives and sheer outer reef wall dives. Often touted as the world’s last great ‘underwater wilderness’, the Rowley Shoals offer some of the most remote scuba diving within Australia.
