One of the biggest Dive Operations on Phuket. We operate as a PADI 5 star CDC Centre, Go Eco Operator and Reef Check Centre. We are the only centre in Thailand to have achieved the PADI Green Star Award. We provide a quality service in relaxed and friendly surroundings and ensure guests get the most out of their holiday, no matter what diving experience they have.

We schedule the full range of PADI courses from Bubblemaker up to professional level of instructor. Tec Courses are also available.

We operate 3 boats which are individually kitted out for day-trips and liveaboard. MV Scuba Fun is the only Dive Boat in the whole of Phuket to offer half day dive trips departing from Patong. MV Scuba Adventure explores the the best diving that the Andaman Sea has to offer including Similan Islands, Koh Bon Koh Tachai and Richilieu Rock as well as the southern Islands. Whilst our day-trip dive boat MV Scuba Fun serve all the best local sites.

Our All inclusive career internships are conducted by up our resident PADI Course Director - for those wishing for the rewarding lifestyle of a PADI instructor.

Boat Description:

Scuba Cat Diving have a dedicated boat, MV Scuba Fun, for Day Trips to the best Scuba dive sites around Phuket and Koh Phi Phi Island, Thailand and 1 liveaboard year round, MV Scuba Adventure in the Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock and all the best Scuba Diving sites in the Andaman Sea, Phi Phi, Koh Ha and Hin Daeng. We have the only Dive Boat offering half day trips in Phuket, departing twice a day from Patong.

Sites Visited:

Average visibility in the Andaman ranges from 15-50 m and the underwater scenery is scattered with extensive coral reefs. Due to the influence of the southwest monsoon, most of the reefs surrounding the offshore islands occur on the east side of the islands.

The reefs around the area are in a healthy condition with both solid and colourfully soft corals. There is also an abundance of marine life. Most of the dive locations are suitable for all levels of divers but there are also some that are quite deep.

The most well-known dive site in the Phuket area is Racha Yai with its sloping rocky reefs and its plentiful solid coral forests. The area south Racha Yai, Racha Noi, is a haven for experienced divers as the depths are greater and the currents stronger. The overall topography is strikingly different from Racha Yai with huge granite boulders and the chance to see manta rays and whale sharks.

Just off Phuket is the limestone island of Koh Doc Mai which soars vertically from the seabed. It is home to a diversity of fish and offers the opportunity to view leopard sharks, moray eels, octopus and turtles.

The Similan Islands are commonly rated as one of the top 10 dive destinations in the world.

Spectacular dive sites in warm, clear waters make this a diving paradise. The Similans provide a huge variety of diving topography and boast the richest variety and abundance of reef fish in Thailand.
