This one followed me around for a while, (might have something to do with my 2 buddies hunting crays). Taken approx. 200m off the shore at Hastie St. Beach in Bunbury W.A. in about 5m of water.
The Lena was a captured Pirate Patagonian tooth fishing vessel proccured by the Bunbury Chamber of Commerce and prepared for scuttling by a huge array of people and organizations. Sitting in almost 18m of water, 5km off shore, it makes for a very interesting and safe dive. Vigorous growth addorns most of the boat already and the marine life is rushing in for prime real estate, there is even a large Baldchin Groper that can be seen regularly.
The photo was taken off Hastie St. beach in Bunbury W.A. The Perch was hiding in loose weeds rolling back and forth in the surge at the edge of the reef and I disturbed it when I grabbed a hand full of the weed. It sat still and posed for me whilst I took this photo with the macro lens.
