Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 on manual macro setting with inbuilt flash. This is the second of three seahorses we saw hanging out at The Steps, Kurnell on the 20th Aug 2005 (see other submissions).

Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 at Inscription Point, Sydney on 19th September, 2004. I always thought that these were just an orange sponge, until this day. I'd never seen tentacles coming out of them before. I'm now assuming it's some kind of anemone (yellow zoanthids - underwater). That's one of the many things I love about diving, you never know what you might discover. Photocomp September '04 - Open
Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 (manual settings) at Bare Island, Sydney on the 12th March 2005. I always find these Pygmy Leatheries hard to shoot. It's like they play tag with each other, swimming around & around in circles. Gotta love them though. Photocomp March '05 - Open
Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 at Bare Island, Sydney on the 5th October 2004. This fellow was quite big and just gliding along the sand at a rather fast pace. Photocomp October '04 - Open
Taken on the west side of Bare Island, Sydney and as always when I see something unusual the pics are rubbish (must be the excitement). Still if anyone can help identify from this poor shot, it would be great.
Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 at Inscription Point on the 19th September, 2004. This viz was pretty ordinary so focusing on the macro seemed to be the way to go. Photocomp September '04 - Open
Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 on Legends Reef, Shellharbour, NSW on the 17th October 2004. Unlike most octopuses and shying into his hole, this guy stood his ground and seemed to want to look at us as much as we did him. Photocomp October '04 - Open
