Hello I am 11 years old and I have been doing a project on the Grey Nurse Shark for school. I am really sad that there are not many left in the wild and that people still hunt these sharks.

I think that we need to teach other young people how to look after the Grey Nurse Sharks and their habitat so their feeding areas are safe for the sharks to feed in. I also think that people need to learn that these sharks are not dangerous and that they are no threat to man.

I hope that there will be laws to stop people from hurting them by catching them and also catching their food in their feeding areas.

I have learnt alot from doing this project and I hope that I can help my friends at school to learn that these sharks are actually quite cool and we need to help look after them or we will not see them in the wild in the future.

Thankyou for the good information that I have been able to use in researching my inquiry.

I wish to email two photos of grey nurse aggregations. Divers estimate one has 45 sharks and the other 61. None of the sharks were observed with hooks.
