The activities on offer are as varied as the islands' unique wildlife. Diving is a relatively new activity in the Mentawai so there are no crowds and the life in the local area is incredible. The dive groups are kept small thus allowing the guide to ensure you have a fantastic dive, regardless of your experience level. Close to the resort are many world famous surf breaks, the Mentawai being known as a surfing mecca for many years. The waters are abudant with marine life and as such, fishing charters are available. For those wanting to take a walk on the wildside, there is trekking deep into the exotic jungles of Siberut Island where the Mentawai people still live by their rich traditional culture.

Sites Visited:

The resort boasts the only dive operation in the Mentawais and as such, the area is fairly unexplored. We have twelve sites we visit on a regular basis within a fifteen minute boat ride of the resort, however we are always searching for new dive sites and on your stay you're more than welcome to join us on an expedition to explore a virgin reef.

Of the sites we visit, the diving is quite varied. Deep water pinnacles provide the perfect environment for an abundence of pelagic life while also sustaining some amazing gardens of sea fans. While the muck diving enthusiasts and photographers will not be disappointed with the amount of unique creatures lurking in the geographically isolated Mentawai waters.
