The KRM05 V3 is the next evolution of our professional 5.5″ underwater monitor — same battle-proven 3000 nit IPS panel, now wrapped in a dramatically slimmer and lighter aluminum housing. We moved the adjustment dial to the side for easier access during dives, and added a rear MicroSD slot so you can update LUTs and firmware between dives without opening the housing.

The Kraken Ultra Bright 5.5” 4K V3 Underwater Monitor (KRM05 V3) is a rugged, self-contained external display built for demanding underwater videographers and filmmakers. By eliminating the bulk of an extra protective enclosure, this monitor mounts directly onto your housing system to deliver a true production-grade viewing experience at depths down to 80 meters.

Real-World Use Case: Whether framing up a macro subject in shallow, sun-bleached tropical water or tracking a fast-moving pelagic in open ocean, the piercing 3000-nit panel ensures you can judge critical focus, exposure values, and color framing without shielding the screen or guessing your shots.

Compatibility Note: Accepts native 4K HDMI inputs; however, your camera’s output signal must be configured to 1080p for full processing functionality.
