Brighten the underwater world with this Sea & Sea YS-03 SOLIS Universal Lighting System, which has a depth rating of 250'. Bundling the YS-03 SOLIS Underwater Strobe, Fiber-Optic Cable II with M/2 Connectors, Flex Arm, and Single Camera Tray, this kit provides the equipment needed to pair the flash with most compact cameras in their underwater housings. 

The strobe features easy and versatile slave TTL functionality, so it is not necessary to manually adjust output. It is compatible with any camera that has a pre-flash and a TTL flash exposure function. The supplied diffuser softens the YS-03's light to prevent backscatter, glare, and hard shadows, resulting in better illumination and more evenly exposed images. The only control is the rotary power switch, making the flash extremely simple to operate.

The YS-03 features a guide number of 65.6' at ISO 100 and a beam angle of 100 x 100°, or 110 x 110° with the diffuser. Its color temperature is a daylight-balanced 5600K, or 5250K when using the diffuser. It's powered by 4 AA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries.

Easy and Versatile Slave TTL
As the YS-03 SOLIS has been designed to mimic the light intensity of the camera’s built-in flash, it is not necessary to manually adjust output. The YS-03 SOLIS is compatible with any camera with a pre-flash and that has a TTL flash exposure function, regardless of make.

Simple Controls
The YS-03 SOLIS has been designed for any underwater photographer to use and is easy to understand. The only control is the rotary power switch and by simply turning the switch from OFF to TTL you can take beautiful images.

Comes with diffuser as standard
The half-translucent section diffuses and softens the light from the strobe. Using the diffuser gives softer, more evenly exposed images. The diffuser will also help reduce effects of overexposed images or when strong light produces shade/shadow in the image.

• When the YS-03 is used with a non-Sea & Sea housing, an optional Strobe Mask Set may be required along with the fiber-optic cable, in order to block most of the camera's built-in flash. This way, only the part needed to trigger the strobe will be uncovered, preventing the flash from causing backscatter, glare, hard shadows, or uneven lighting.
