IN STOCK NOW - we live and breathe underwater!
The compact Sea Dragon 3000SF Pro Dual Beam Photo-Video light is the perfect all-around photo, video, and dive light. With a simple one-button push, you can switch from the wide 3000 lumen 120° beam to a narrow 1500 lumen 15° spot beam. For imaging, the spot beam offers many creative opportunities such as to create a narrowly focused snoot or stage spotlight effect. The spot beam also serves as a primary or secondary dive light for most diving applications. Two red LEDs make this the perfect light combination for both day and night dives.
The narrow beam feature has a long effective range making it useful to see in dark areas and discover hiding fish. The Sea Dragon Pro Dual Beam also offers two 180 lumen 88° red LEDs. Red light won’t affect your own eyes’ night vision or scare-off light-sensitive sea creatures, a simple push on the feature button shifts the light from red to the wide beam at 3000 lumens. You are ready in an instant to capture still or video images.
The feature control button easily switches to the most popular functions:
3000 (Lumen) Flood > 1500 Flood > 750 Flood > 1500 Spot > 750 Spot > 180 RED Flood > Repeat
The Sea Dragon Pro Dual Beam light includes a Flex-Connect® Single camera tray, Flex-Connect® Grip, Sea Dragon EVA Travel case, adapter for GoPro® cameras, Li-ion battery, AC Charger, and international plug adapters.
Part of the Sea Dragon’s impressive performance is its powerful 25Wh 3400mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery pack, that runs the light for 60 minutes at full (3000 lumen) power.
Easily Expandable
The Sea Dragon 3000SF Pro Dual Beam is easy to expand with SeaLife’s Flex-Connect system of trays, grips, arms and adapters. The 3000 can be connected to any underwater camera system using standard ¼-20 tripod or GoPro camera mounts. Flex-Connect ball joint, YS and cold shoe mounts are available making the Sea Dragon 3000SF Pro Dual Beam compatible with any underwater camera.
*CRI is a measure of a light source's ability to show object colors "realistically" or "naturally" compared to daylight, which has a CRI of 100 and represents the maximum value.
The beam angles for the Sea Dragon lights are shown as the true, tested “in-air” (above water) beam angle. Underwater, due to light refraction, the angle tightens to approximately 33% less.
Avoid using this Sea Dragon light above water for prolonged periods of time
The light is designed for underwater use and water is needed to displace heat. The metal light head at full power will reach temperature of about 140F (60C) degrees within a few minutes, which may cause burning if touched. A thermal sensor will automatically dim the light if internal temperatures reaches 150F (65C) degrees. Immediately turn off light if any parts of the light become hot to the touch.
