The BOAT02 is powered by Shark Shield Technology, the world’s only scientifically proven and independently tested shark deterrent technology. Easy to deploy off the back of any vessel, the new BOAT02 is based on the proven design of the Ocean Guardian FREEDOM7 dive product and provides a large and powerful protective swimming area.

Powered by either the internal Lithium battery or from your vessel, you can also daisy chain up to five devices to create a “virtual net”. Device indicators include on/off, check the battery level, navigation lights, etc.

How it Works

Sharks have short-range electrical receptors in their snouts used for finding food, Ocean Guardian’s government approved, and patented technology creates a powerful three-dimensional electrical field which causes unbearable spasms in these sensitive receptors turning sharks away, including Great Whites. You on the other hand, will feel a lot safer.

Powered by Shark Shield Technology, Ocean Guardian shark deterrents aren’t just designed to protect you, they protect the ocean too. So there’s no need for shark nets or needless culls. Best of all, it doesn’t harm the shark either.
