Coleman Shrimp

Coleman Shrimp are found only on the venomous sea urchin (Asthenosoma varium). The Coleman shrimp use their pincers to remove some of the venomous spines from an area of the urchin and make their home in this space. Coleman Shrimp are usually found in pairs - the female being larger of the two. In this image the male is just to the right of the female.Anilao, Philipines.
