Diving in Darwin is everything diving should be: fun, exciting, interesting, with warm water and in a happy, casual atmosphere!

CORAL DIVERS is Darwin's best, friendliest dive store and we are here to make sure you enjoy your Darwin Diving experience. We have been diving Darwin for more than 15 years. Our 2 full-time Instructors have over 20 years and 15 years experience respectively and know the harbour like an old friend.

Our staff are all highly qualified and experienced, but most of all they love the ocean and in particular Darwin's underwater world. We are just waiting to help you enjoy it too!

Our shallow coastal reef system is great for those long, lazy dives. Our soft corals and sponges are prolific as the lower visibility and strong tidal flows provide them with perfect conditions. Expect to see large Gorgonians, soft coral trees, harp corals, vase sponges and ascidians galore! Not to mention the huge number of different Nudibranchs.

Boat Description:

Our boat "Coral Diver" is a fast tri-hull equipped with a Yamaha 225 HP engine, full length canopy, and loads of deck space to gear up.? She was purpose-built in Fremantle in Western Australia and is an excellent, stable platform for our harbour?diving.? She handles all weather beautifully and even in the roughest weather is quite easy to dive out of .... and get back in!

Sites Visited:

Over the years many artificial reefs have been sunk in the Darwin harbour area and also out in the "blue water". We also dive WWII wrecks - Most of these wrecks were sunk in the Japanese Air-raid on the 19th February, 1942. In addition we dive some very nice local coral reefs, some cyclone Tracy wrecks and not to forget some exciting "inland diving".
