Located inside the lagoon, the innovative reef pontoon boasts its own ecosystem with magnificent corals and a diversity of marine life not found in more open areas. Explore this underwater wonderland as a certified or introductory diver with on-site dive operator, Reef Safari.

More than 200 different types of fish and 150 types of hard and soft coral thrive in the sheltered lagoon, giving this part of the reef a higher concentration and greater diversity of coral than any other commercial site in Queensland.

Cruise Whitsundays is an Advanced Eco Certified tourism operator, dedicated to the protection of the Great Barrier Reef.

Boat Description:

Getting to the reef is half the fun onboard 'Seaflight', our 37-metre state of the art wavepiercer, ideally suited to outer reef cruising. With its superior sea handling,' Seaflight' is the largest vessel in the Whitsundays and offers a comfortable ride, being fitted with a motion control system. It has spacious air-conditioned lounges, large outer viewing decks and two bars serving refreshments.

The pontoon is spacious with a choice of areas to relax and a great range of activities to enhance your time at the reef. Our pontoon features a spectacular underwater viewing chamber - you'll feel like you are in the water with the fish! There is undercover seating and tables, sun decks for topping up the tan, freshwater showers, change rooms and you have full access to the air-conditioned comfort of 'Seaflight' alongside.

Located inside the reef, the pontoon is ideally situated in shallower waters with protection from the surrounding sea conditions.
