Boat Description:

The 40 metre S/Y Philippine Siren luxury diving liveaboard was designed and built using the lessons learnt from our first yacht the S/Y Siren and launched in 2009. With even more space provided for our guests, the cabins are either fixed double or twin bed, however we offer flexibility with 2 cabins which can be converted from twin to double. The outdoor dining area offers a superb setting for all your meals and the dive deck is likely one of the most spacious you will have come across, excepting other Siren Fleet yachts! Since her launch in 2009 we have improved facilities for underwater photographers and videographers, providing both indoor and outdoor designated areas for charging and preparation of your camera and video equipment.

Built on the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi, she is a traditional “gaft rigged Phinisi” handcrafted from ironwood and teak. You will find no other dive liveaboard as beautiful in the Philippine Sea. Built by divers for divers the S/YPhilippine Siren is a modern and spacious diving liveaboard.

Aboard the S/Y Philippine Siren we welcome 16 guests on each trip.

Sites Visited:

Coron & Batangas itinerary offers a mix of Wreck diving, macro diving and reef walls.

Visayas itinerary is focussed on macro life with critter diving in Dauin, Cabilao and Bohol. However there are also steep reef walls where schools of sardines congregate and the chance to see whale sharks.

Tubbataha National Park attracts the larger pelagics with hammerheads, black tips and grey reef sharks being common sightings, along with turtles, schools of jacks and snapper. Macro critters too but the focus is on the bigger marine life that gather at these stunning reefs. Majority of diving here is along reef walls.

Panic away! Panic away!
I never liked the sea. It is slimy, salty, and stings my eyes. But as I marveled at schools of tropical fish darting about in blue and yellow streaks among brain coral on the Discovery Channel, it hit me. I have to know: Is the sea really as vibrant as this? ... - WINNER best story July 2003
