Since the Club's reformation over Twenty Five Years ago there has been a constant core of dedicated Divers which have seen this Club carry on with strength and enthusiasm.
The Club finds its strength in it's isolation, as we are a good 4 hours from any Saltwater Diving. In the twelve months of the year we run eleven Club meetings and for the last 10 years have consistently had 25 to 30 people at our meetings.
The Clubs Profile is quite high due to our unusual geographic location on the edge of the outback and at least 4 Hours by car to the nearest saltwater.
We run at least two major trips year and usually find them well enough attended to run a bus, which ferries around 35 to 40 men, women and children, in a huge family group. These tend to be very sociable weekends as well as Dive weekends. Venturing to the coast with Dive Buddies that we like to Dive with, is a friendly way to keep our Club safe, with the more experienced being able to pass on the expertise to newer Club members.
The Clubs assets include a 14.5cfm Compressor with Bank Tanks that can be filled to 4400 psi. collection of assorted dive gear that is available to Club members.
