G'day Scott,

Great to hear you are heading to Perth. I'm the PR officer for the Underwater Explorers Club of WA. We are WA's largest non-commercial dive club (120 members). We have our own 42ft boat and try to dive all year round. Most of our diving is around Rottnest Island which is just off the coast from Fremantle. We also have a active social side and try to do other events. This weekend we are rescue crew for the Avon Descent, which is a 120 kilometre White Water race for power boats and paddlers. For now, check out our website at http://www.underwaterexplorersclub.net and feel free to e-mail me at the club on [email protected] for any info you would like. We have 3 members who have very recently moved from the UK and loads of ex-pat Brits in the club so I'm sure I can find out anything you need to know. I'm at work right now so I have to keep this short, but I hope to talk to you soon and maybe even see you out on our boat in the not to distant future.

Regards Chris Cunnold

This is a bit of a 'girly' story, but it was just how I felt after our dive yesterday at Stradbroke Island. I have been diving since 1981 and instructing since 2000 and have found that I never, ever get bored with the wonderful world under the waves!
