What is A Mini Scuba System?

A mini scuba system by definition is a small, self-contained underwater breathing apparatus that’s both compact and portable. Combine the freedom of underwater movement and ease of breathing and you get an exceptional underwater experience.

With traditional mini scuba systems, a smaller dive tank is usually included. And while this is a more lightweight option than traditional scuba diving gear, you still need to be certified and have access to a compressor, or dive store to fill up your tank (which can be a tedious task when diving in remote areas).

BLU3’s Mini Scuba Systems

Fortunately, with the evolution of science and technology over the years, mini scuba systems have come a long way. For example, take BLU3’s mini scuba systems which have taken the industry by storm in recent years. Although they are technically tankless (surface-supplied air) diving systems, we associate our systems with the term SCUBA, because people tend to have a better understanding of what it is.

“The simplicity of snorkeling meets the thrill of scuba diving.”

Here are some uses for BLU3 Mini Scuba Systems:

  • Exploring the underwater world
  • Metal detecting (treasure/fossil hunting)
  • Boat maintenance
  • Beginner divers
  • Boat emergency equipment
  • First responder emergency equipment
  • Underwater photography
  • Pool maintenance
  • Harvesting (in a sustainable manner)
  • Accessing remote diving locations
  • Underwater meditation
  • Underwater fitness

Benefits-of-Small-Underwater-Breathing-Devices

BLU3 mini scuba dive systems are all-in-one, single-diver, battery-powered, tankless diving systems that give divers an opportunity to experience the beauty of the underwater world alleviating the constant worry of heavy scuba tanks and gear.

The convenience, seamless setup and use provide the ultimate bridge between snorkeling and scuba diving while filling in gaps that traditional mini scuba tanks cannot. The compressor sits on the surface, and supplies air from the surface down through a hose to the diver. So as divers explore beneath the surface, Nemo/Nomad will float on the surface above and follow above.
