- "Hey Boss, I really want to take 12 kids diving with about 16 sharks" is not a good request in the days following a tragic attack at the Abrolhos (and the request to take a group there later in the year is a completely different issue!!), and the request being granted was an even larger surprise.

Goodbye Cocos. Hello Christmas Island!
- We waved goodbye to the crew from Cocos (Keeling) Islands until our arms hurt. We were a bit sad to leave everybody behind, but also excited about what was going to come. After only an hour the plane started to descend again and we could see Christmas Island. It was very clear straight away that Christmas Island is geologically very different from the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Coral Bay - Coral Wonderland in Western Australia

- With cloudy skies, rain and the cooling of our beloved ocean upon us, it was time to migrate north in search of warmth and relaxation. Our destination was Coral Bay on the north coast of Western Australia about 1200 km from Perth, the state's capital.
