Grey Nurse Shark injured by fishing gaff

This female Grey Nurse Shark has been sighted numerous times hanging around Julian Rock in Byron Bay. It is obviously injured by some sort of long metal pole which has been suggested to be some kind of fishing gaff. Poor shark - we hope it can be caught and saved, it surely looks like an injury from a deliberate act by some cruel human being.
