Cavangh's Egg Cowrie

This is a Cavangh's Egg Cowrie with eggs taken at The Pipeline Nelson Bay, Port Stephens, Australia in 8 metres of water. These cowries blend in very well with their host soft coral. We often see the eggs first before we see the cowrie and this time she was actually on the eggs perhaps in the process of laying them? This one had a tiny hitchhiker on her back. I used a Nikon D70 in a Subal Housing with twin Inon Strobes.
