Sangalaki Dive Lodge

Accommodation on the island are 12 newly built (in 2008)Beach Cottages (Twin-Share Basis) these rooms are eqipped with Air-Conditioning, ceiling fans, lights, wardrobe, dressing tables, bathroom with hotwater showers. Meals & Gatherings are done in the Main Dining Hall where our office, Bar and T.V Room is located. Dive Stations is beside the dining hall. We have 2 custom-built dive boats equipped with twin outboard engines.

Watch the large Green turtle drag themselves up the beach each night to dig thier nests and lay their eggs, dive with Magnificent Manta Rays, watch the amazing colour changes of the cuttle fish, be amazed by the size of Giant CLams. Leopard Sharks, Giant Garoupas, Lobsters, Sting Rays, White-Tip, Black-Tip sharks, be amazed by the small fishes darting in and out of beatiful spnge corals also home to unique nudibranchs and other small Macro features. If Sangalaki isn't enough, take our day excursions to neighbouring islands such as Kakaban Island, only 15 minutes away, and the amazing opportunity to snorkel in the largest non-stinging jellyfish lake in the world. Dive the amazing wall dives on Kakaban where larger pelagics hunt, here you will see Big-Eyed Jacks, Schools of Barracudas, White & Black Tips patroling the walls, occasionally the Hammerhead will slip into view and the visiting Eagle Rays. Apart from Kakaban, Samama Island is also around 10 minutes away form Sangalaki and offers wonderful Macro diving as the island is covered by Mangrove making it an ideal place for small marine creatures such as Nudibranchs, Pipefish, Porcelain Crabs, Gobi's, Frog Fish, etc.
