The Odd Couple

Kat the lone dugong took up residence on the Cocos (Keeling) Islands end of June 2002. He is often seen chasing mantas or in the company of batfish. More recently his entourage is a small school of unicorn fish. It's a very special moment when Kat decides to accompany the divers allowing you to swim closely beside him. This was one of those special occasions. Taken at Two Caves - Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Western Australia with a Fuji F810, wide angle lens & single strobe.
