Lion's Mane Jellyfish

These nasty jellyfish ruined my dive at Mornington Pier in Victoria, Australia. There were literally thousands of them on the outside of the pier, and my buddy and I were reminded of "Finding Nemo" as we dodged our way through them. After a short while my lips were stinging and my buddy's cheek was hurting we aborted the dive. After searching the internet I discovered they are very nasty and their sting can paralyse!! Gotta love this shot though, the tentacles are about 1m long. This is my new wallpaper for my work PC.
