The Byron Underwater Festival 2007: by Wandy Hochgrebe; The first Byron Underwater Festival, which was held May 10-13 was a great success with more than 30 divers entering in the Underwater Shoot-Out and over 100 artworks submitted to the ‘Marine Visions’ Art Competition. Goodbye Cocos. Hello Christmas Island!: by Wandy Hochgrebe; We waved goodbye to the crew from Cocos (Keeling) Islands until our arms hurt. We were a bit sad to leave everybody behind, but also excited about what was going to come. After only an hour the plane started to descend again and we could see Christmas Island. It was very clear straight away that Christmas Island is geologically very different from the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Where Have All the Horses Gone?: by Simon; Clifton Gardens has always rated as one of my favourite Sydney night dives. I know - a maximum depth of 4m under the jetty means you could snorkel it with short length of garden hose, but it never fails to deliver a unique and unexpected encounter with interesting critters.
